Welcome to Life Teen!

What is Life Teen?

Life Teen is the name of the youth ministry program at St. Matthew Parish in Dix Hills, NY. "Life Teen is an international Catholic movement which serves the Church by providing resorces and faith experiences which help lead teens closer to Christ. This is accomplished through a vibrant Eucharistic spirituality and by creating opportunities for teens to grow in their faith."

Who is Life Teen for?

St. Matthew's Life Teen program is for high schoolers (Grades 9-12) and middle schoolers (Grades 6-8). Each group has events and meetings based on these two age levels.

Where does Life Teen meet?

Life Nights are held in the Youth Center (2nd floor in the parish center), twice a month on Sundays. One night is for high schoolers, and the other is for middle school youth. The dates for these gatherings, as well as for other events are posted on our upcoming events page

What is the CORE Team?

The CORE Team is a group of adult and young adult volunteers who are committed to running the various Life Teen events.
